Situation: New development, 10 year old and apparently a quality construction, but with heavy humidity’s all these years.
Work: Behind, we find many surprises as start striping the terrace. The asphalt sheeting: partly broken, has several holes, does not cover the minimum requested height, and several construction mistakes. This is due to that they have not considered structure movement, correct isolation against the temperature changes, or just not used a specialized team. The consequences are very clear.
Solution: A total striping,
2 layer of asphalt sheeting for a double guarantee, and a waterprooftest
of 72 hours with 8 cm water height and closed up the drainages.
Result:
A waterproof terrace or home with no leaks nor humidity’s and a happy client
